I’m Chris, a wedding photographer based in Northern Ireland.
I work with couples who want a day that feels like them - not a copy-and-paste version of what a wedding is supposed to look like. The kind of people who care more about having a great time than sticking to a plan.
You won’t spend your day posing or being pulled away from the people you care about. Most of the time, you’ll barely notice me there capturing all the action as it naturally unfolds.

What I’m really drawn to are the moments that feel like something - full of character, connection, and real emotion.
The way I get there is simple: I keep things relaxed. No over-directing, no making you perform - just giving you the space to enjoy your day properly while I document it as it happens.
A big part of that is getting to know you both before the wedding. Not in a formal way - just enough that you feel comfortable around me, and I understand what matters to you.
Because once you feel at ease and trust me, everything else falls into place. That’s when the photos start to feel natural, honest, and properly you.
My Approach.
The biggest thing I’ve learned from photographing weddings over the years is simple: people first, camera second.
Because the truth is, being in front of a camera doesn’t come naturally to most people - and that’s completely fine.
My focus on a wedding day is getting everyone to that point where they feel comfortable enough to just be themselves. Not just you two, but everyone around you - friends, family, whoever’s part of your day.
I’ll blend in, have a laugh, chat to people, and settle into the flow of things so no one feels like they’re being watched or put on the spot.
Some moments are best left alone, and I’m happy to step back and let them happen. Others need a bit of energy, and I’m just as comfortable stepping in and mixing things up when required!
It’s all about reading the room and making sure people feel at ease, so the photos feel natural.
