So you booked your wedding at the Wool Tower - you clever individuals!
I’ve shot many weddings at the Wool Tower - here a few of my top tips for smashing your Wool Tower Wedding out of the park!
1) Make Full Use of the Bridal Suite Pre Ceremony
If you are staying in the on-site cottage on the night before your wedding - speak to the venue and see if you can move to the bridal suite shortly before your ceremony for final preparations (getting your dress on / final touch up for the make up). The beautiful natural light and stylish surroundings of the bridal suite and adjacent outdoor area make for some incredible final pre ceremony images.

2) Keep Your Guest Together
The Wool Tower has a range of beautiful spaces at ground floor level. From the seated area in the front courtyard, to the ground floor bar area, through to the riverside path, the covered outdoor drinks reception area and all the way round to the rear of the venue - there are so many places to explore! My advice to you however is to try to keep all your guests together in one area - if various different parties congregate in small numbers around all the various areas it can result in quite a segmented feel to the day. Use the venue staff or enlist the help of your bridal party (a great job for the ushers / best men) to keep everyone together in one space as much as possible! This encourages interaction, keeps energy levels high and will make for an incredible buzz all day!
3) Take Full Advantage of the Outdoor Balcony Area
The first floor balcony area can make for an incredible area for some photographs as the sun is coming down in the evening, especially if you have a drone for some aerial shots. Here is an image from Maria & Michael’s wedding which I shot from my drone. It made for a spectacular finish to their wedding gallery.
